Ahmed Saya, a renowned A-Level teacher from Karachi, has been nominated for the “Most Dedicated Teacher Award.” This competition is conducted on yearly basis by the Cambridge University Press. (Source: Dawn News)
Currently, Saya teaches A-Level Grade students at a private Karahi-based school and is surprisingly one of the 6 teachers from across the globe that is shortlisted for this award.

The judges of Cambridge University Press announced on Twitter that it was a really tough decision for them to choose 6 finalists for the Dedicated Teacher Awards 2019 as they received impressive entries by the students.

Saya is a dedicated teacher who loves to help his students at any time of the day or even night. He invests his weekends with students who seek his guidance or anything personal tip. His aim is to develop good humans that can play their roles and contribute well to the Pakistani society. He is indeed a gem of a person.
Criteria for Dedicated Teachers Award 2019:
The “Cambridge University Press Website” invited students from Oct-December 2018 to nominate their favorite teachers that they consider are most dedicated to their profession.
Other nominees for this award include;

- Anthony Chelliah, Gateway College, Sri Lanka
- Candice Green, St Augustine’s College, Australia
- Jimrey Dapin, University of San Jose-Recoletos, Philippines
- Sharon Kong Foong, Sunway College, Malaysia
These six finalists were shortlisted by a panel of educational experts. The 6 winning finalists will win a host of prizes, plus a promotion from “Cambridge University Press” for themselves and their school.
